In February 2023, PSI - Arizona launched the Perinatal Mental Health Equity & Access Group to work in collaboaration with PSI National's PMH Alliance for POC program and drive the changes needed to support AZ communities of color.
Monthly meetings are held the last Saturday of each month @ 9am AZ time.

The Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color was founded in February 2017 by Divya B. Kumar, LCSW, ScM, CLC, Jabina Coleman, LSW, IBCLC, and Desirée Israel, LCSW-C. The PMHA-POC is bridging the gap in perinatal mental health support services for birthing persons, providers, and communities of color.
In 2022 the PMHA-POC became a fully funded program within Postpartum Support International to expand its reach in bridging the gap in perinatal support services for providers and communities of color.
The first ever Person of Color only (trainers and audience) Perinatal Mental Health certification track training will take place in Phoenix, AZ. This event is the first of its kind for PSI. Please join this HISTORIC event.
